Many users asked us about our SMS pricing and payment methods. We added this information to our updated FAQ and Help system but I also wanted to explain the few most common questions here.
The price of one SMS transaction is about $0.09. We also have volume discounts.
We currently take credit card payments through PayPal. If this method of payment is unavailable in your country you can send us Money Order (the fastest is through Western Union) to the following address:
Upside Wireless Inc.
Suite 600 - 515 West Hastings Street
Vancouver, BC, V6B 5K3, Canada
We cover over 90% of all networks. China, Italy, France are currently not covered.
You recipients can respond to your SMS by pressing the "Reply" button on their SMS phone and sending a new message. If you enabled this in your account (go to the "SMS Settings" link in your account to make sure this is enabled) their reply will end up in your e-mail or on your SMS phone.
Some users in the Philippines are able to receive your SMS but are unable to reply to them. This is because their SMS plan (with their local provider) does not allow International SMS

How to perform Direct Reply to SMS?
This very popular iPiPi feature allows recipients of the messages you send from the Compose SMS screen to reply from their cell phone. The reply message can be sent to your email address or directly to your cell phone!
In order to enable/setup this feature you have to:
- Click on the "SMS Settings" link in your account
- Select email address or cell phone number that you want to be used for receiving messages
- If the desired cell phone number or e-mail address is not there, click on "Forwarding Addresses" link, register new cell phone or e-mail, then repeat step #2
- When somebody receives a SMS message from you and replies to it - the reply will end up in either your e-mail box or on your SMS phone.
Please note that EACH SMS transaction is charged one credit.
